If you’ve read something from the Gardner Museum recently, chances are you’ve read my work! Spanning email, website, social media, and advertising copy, I’ve flexed my writing muscles across a wide spectrum, reaching audiences of all demographics. Content strategy is key here, and it’s something I’ve grown to love, especially when managing distributed content models.

Writing website, email, and landing page copy for small businesses across the country was a great opportunity to practice writing about many different things—from custom hot tub retailers, to concrete pumpers and roofers. I learned a lot about the importance of information hierarchies, and the nuanced advantages to using landing pages.

Focus, focus, focus—the details are important. The fashion industry is competitive, and even the smallest of details can be pivotal in helping businesses around the globe navigate the retail market. Writing blog and social media content here helped players like Target learn how to position their proprietary clothing brands amid the many others that live in this market.

From writing and managing website content, to working with web developers to improve and advance UX design, I’ve seen through website projects large and small. I’d call working on websites a passion.

 

Email

I’ve developed content calendars, designed custom email templates, developed a content review pipeline, and managed two other creators on the email team at the Gardner Museum. Organization is key!

My work on email strategy was identified as a key factor in implementing the Gardner Museum’s 2019 Strategic Plan initiative.
